Lions, tigers,and bears, oh my!

These are amazing beautiful creatures. There are so many amazing creatures on Gods green earth. Now let’s talk about lions. I love lions. Lions are social animals they live I  packs. Their roar can be heard upto 5 miles away. Their mane is there to protect their neck. Females are the hunters. They can go 4 to 5 days without water. They sleep for 16 to 20 hours a day. So lazy sounds like walter. I’ve always had an infatuation with lions. My parents gave me the name judah. In the bible lion of the tribe of judah is a symbol of the israelite tribe of judah. Judahs father Jacob prophesied ” Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you. You are a lion’s cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness—who dares to rouse him? The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his. He will tether his donkey to a vine, his colt to the choicest branch; he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes. His eyes will be darker than wine, his teeth whiter than milk” (Genesis 49:8–12).

My name means praise. I love my name. Its different and I draw strength from it. Now I dont want to get to preachy here. But this post is about my name and my belief. I like to think I’m one of the most level headed Christian’s you could meet. I’m not a crazy Christian if you will. My faith is strong. I believe strongly. I also believe in listening to someone else’s opinion. This country has a hard fight ahead of itself. Because most  parents don’t teach their kids to be free thinkers. Society and parents teach one way their way. To often now people don’t even want to hear the other side. We dont debate each other we block out what others say and we try and talk louder then them. I believe in what I believe. I dont think I have 100percent of the answers in fact I know I dont. I’m open to talk about my faith and your faith. I believe in the way loving God makes me feel good. Makes me do good. My dad always said going to church doesn’t make you a Christian anymore then going to McDonald’s makes you a hamburger. That statement has stuck with me. Just because you do good things and go to church it doesn’t mean you are going to heaven it’s not even about that. I do good things because I want to. I’m a Christian because I have faith in something larger than myself. When I have kids I’ll teach them to be free thinkers. I won’t brain wash them to be exactly like me. I’ll teach them to be humble and kind. And I hope they dont always agree with me I want them to be their own people.you know if somehow they become cub fans instead of sox fans I won’t disown them. Common sense. Common decency. Clear eyes full heart cant lose. I’m guilty of the brain wash the disdain for others the judging of others. But you know what you grow and learn and you hope that eventually you get it. We are all just trying to get by and do the best we can with what we know. I think sure we all what success and health for others. We all want a good outcome. We just have different ideas about how to get there. And if we can all just agree that we have that common goal. We can work together with all our differences to get that. I’ve never met someone that agreed with me 100 percent wheres the fun in that anyway. Bottom line pain, death, despair, all of it any of it doesn’t  discriminate and neither do I. I love you and theres nothing you can do about that.  Even if I hate you, even if I disagree with you. I’m just happy to be alive happy to have the chance to help others. Grateful for my failures and faults. Happy to live and learn. As always love you if you read or dont. Peace
